Default Hypertech Programmer

Register to stop seeing this ad!

The more Equator drivers we can get to put in a request with Hypertech the better chance we will have of them creating a programmer or modifying the Nissan to work.

Just put in your information.
I looked into Superchips because they have a 2010 Frontier programmer out but they don't do a product request.

While searching I found a chip for the Equator at slrmotorsports.com. Is that the same thing. I have to admit I don't know much about these things but if it actually got 3-6 mph gain it would be worth the $70.

Default No it is not

Hey Joe
Stay away from those things. They are resistors. The programmer actual updates the computer to maximize HP and Fuel Economy.
You can use them to adjust the Speedometer due to bigger tires etc.

Yeah. I had more time to check them out later and found out what they were. Too good to be true. The hypertech thing looks good. I sent in my request. It would be nice to have something that can be reset to avoid hassles at the dealer.

The UPsolute chip that I had for my VW Golf TdI required the original CPU to be De-soldered and removed, re-programmed and then re-soldered into place. It did make a big difference though.
